Quick Start Guide
Thank you for purchasing the X1 4G Bonding Encoder. This guide will help you install, connect, and configure your device for professional live streaming.
1. Packing List
Section titled “1. Packing List”Before installation, please ensure the following items are included in your package:

2. Device Overview
Section titled “2. Device Overview”The X1 features a 5.5” touch screen and a variety of professional interfaces for video and network connectivity.
Interface Layout

3. Installation & Connection
Section titled “3. Installation & Connection”Follow the diagram below to connect your equipment.
- Connect Video Source: Plug your camera into the HDMI or SDI input.
- Connect Network: Insert SIM cards into the side slots, connect an Ethernet cable, or prepare to use Wi-Fi.
- Power On: Connect the Type-C power adapter and press the Power Switch to turn on the unit.
4. Network Configuration & Login
Section titled “4. Network Configuration & Login”View IP Address
Section titled “View IP Address”Once powered on, the LCD screen will display the Welcome Interface. It will automatically acquire an IP address (via DHCP) if a wired network is connected.
- Ethernet: The IP (e.g.,
10.0.0.248) is shown directly on the screen. - Wireless: You can select a Wi-Fi network directly from the touch screen to obtain a wireless IP.
4. Web Control
Section titled “4. Web Control”Accessing the device via a web browser provides a full-featured dashboard for advanced configuration, perfect for remote management during a broadcast.
4.1 Web Dashboard Home
Section titled “4.1 Web Dashboard Home”After logging in, you will land on the Home dashboard. This interface is designed as a central command center, providing a complete overview of video inputs, system health, and network telemetry.
Video Preview & Input Source
Section titled “Video Preview & Input Source”The left side of the screen is dominated by the live confidence monitor and input controls:
- Preview Window: Displays the real-time encoded video feed so you can visually verify the signal content.
- Input Status:
- HDMI / SDI: Shows the detailed resolution, frame rate, and sampling rate (e.g.,
1920*1080P 60FPS) for the connected source. - Active Source Switch: Use the Radio Buttons next to HDMI or SDI to select which video input to encode.
- Note: “NO Signal” will appear if the selected interface has no cable connected.
- HDMI / SDI: Shows the detailed resolution, frame rate, and sampling rate (e.g.,
CNDLive Manager Configuration
Section titled “CNDLive Manager Configuration”The panel on the right allows for quick connection to the central management platform:
- Configuration Switch: Toggle to enable the connection agent.
- Server Details: Input your Server Address and Port (Default: 50000).
- Link Bonding: Select which network interfaces (LAN1, Wi-Fi, SIM1-6) should be aggregated for the management connection.
- Intercom Status: Displays the connection state of the voice intercom (PPT Joined/Not Joined) and hardware status (Headset Plugged/Unplugged).
System & Network Telemetry
Section titled “System & Network Telemetry”The bottom section provides high-fidelity performance metrics:
- System Stats: Monitors CPU (31%) and RAM (27%) usage, along with total device Runtime (e.g.,
4Day 22H). - Traffic Monitor: Real-time Upload (↑8.19Mbps) and Download (↓172Kbps) speeds.
- Flow Topology: A visual diagram showing the data path from the X1 Device → Cloud/Bonding Server → Output Destinations (e.g., NDI, HDMI loop-out).
- Speed Graph: A scrolling line chart on the bottom right visualizes network stability over time, helping to identify jitter or bandwidth drops.
5. CNDLive Manager Connection & Stream Bonding
Section titled “5. CNDLive Manager Connection & Stream Bonding”The X1 supports network bonding via the CNDLive Manager to Bonding LAN, Wi-Fi, and 4G connections for stable transmission.
Step 1: Connect Device to Platform
Section titled “Step 1: Connect Device to Platform”- Navigate to “Settings” on the web console.
- Under “Management Platform”, toggle “Configuration” to ON.
- Enter the Server Address (IP) of your CNDLive platform.
- Under Links, check the interfaces you want to bond (e.g.,
lan,wifi,SIM1,SIM3). - Click “Apply”. The status should change to “Connected”.
Step 2: Configure Stream in Manager
Section titled “Step 2: Configure Stream in Manager”Once the device is connected, proceed to the CNDLive Manager to start the aggregated stream:
- Add X1 Unit: In CNDLive Manager, add a new device. You will be asked to input the Serial Number (SN).
- Where to find the SN: You can find it on the sticker on the back of the device, or in the web console under Settings > System > Info.
- Create Node: Go to the Stream Matrix page and click the + icon at the bottom left to add a new node.
- Start Streaming: Inside the new node settings:
- Set the Source to the X1 unit you just added.
- Add your desired Destination stream.
- The system will now start pushing the bonded stream to your destination.
6. Maintenance
Section titled “6. Maintenance”Firmware Upgrade
Section titled “Firmware Upgrade”- Go to the “Upgrade” page in the web console.
- Compare your Current Firmware Version with the latest file.
- Click “Select File” to upload the new firmware and click “Upgrade”.
- Wait approx. 5 minutes. The device will reboot automatically.
Factory Reset
Section titled “Factory Reset”If the device malfunctions, you can restore default settings (User/Pass will revert to admin/admin).
- Method 1 (LCD Screen): Press the physical Menu button > “Settings” > “System” > “Reset”.
- Method 2 (Web Console): Go to “Restore Factory Settings” > “Restore Factory”.
