X1 4G Bonding Encoder
Thank you for purchasing the X1 4G Bonding Encoder. This guide will help you install, connect, and configure your device for professional live streaming.
1. Packing List
Section titled “1. Packing List”Before installation, please ensure the following items are included in your package:

2. Device Overview
Section titled “2. Device Overview”The X1 features a 5.5” touch screen and a variety of professional interfaces for video and network connectivity.
Interface Layout

3. Installation & Connection
Section titled “3. Installation & Connection”Follow the diagram below to connect your equipment.
- Connect Video Source: Plug your camera into the HDMI or SDI input.
- Connect Network: Insert SIM cards into the side slots, connect an Ethernet cable, or prepare to use Wi-Fi.
- Power On: Connect the Type-C power adapter and press the Power Switch to turn on the unit.
4. Network Configuration & Login
Section titled “4. Network Configuration & Login”View IP Address
Section titled “View IP Address”Once powered on, the LCD screen will display the Welcome Interface. It will automatically acquire an IP address (via DHCP) if a wired network is connected.
- Ethernet: The IP (e.g.,
10.0.0.248) is shown directly on the screen. - Wireless: You can select a Wi-Fi network directly from the touch screen to obtain a wireless IP.
Access Web Management Console
Section titled “Access Web Management Console”- Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network.
- Enter the IP address displayed on the X1 screen (e.g.,
10.0.0.248). - Login with the default credentials:

5. CNDLive Manager Connection & Stream Bonding
Section titled “5. CNDLive Manager Connection & Stream Bonding”The X1 supports network bonding via the CNDLive Manager to Bonding LAN, Wi-Fi, and 4G connections for stable transmission.
Step 1: Connect Device to Platform
Section titled “Step 1: Connect Device to Platform”- Navigate to “Settings” on the web console.
- Under “Management Platform”, toggle “Configuration” to ON.
- Enter the Server Address (IP) of your CNDLive platform.
- Under Links, check the interfaces you want to bond (e.g.,
lan,wifi,SIM1,SIM3). - Click “Apply”. The status should change to “Connected”.
Step 2: Configure Stream in Manager
Section titled “Step 2: Configure Stream in Manager”Once the device is connected, proceed to the CNDLive Manager to start the aggregated stream:
- Add X1 Unit: In CNDLive Manager, add a new device. You will be asked to input the Serial Number (SN).
- Where to find the SN: You can find it on the sticker on the back of the device, or in the web console under Settings > System > Info.
- Create Node: Go to the Stream Matrix page and click the + icon at the bottom left to add a new node.
- Start Streaming: Inside the new node settings:
- Set the Source to the X1 unit you just added.
- Add your desired Destination stream.
- The system will now start pushing the bonded stream to your destination.
6. Maintenance
Section titled “6. Maintenance”Firmware Upgrade
Section titled “Firmware Upgrade”- Go to the “Upgrade” page in the web console.
- Compare your Current Firmware Version with the latest file.
- Click “Select File” to upload the new firmware and click “Upgrade”.
- Wait approx. 5 minutes. The device will reboot automatically.
Factory Reset
Section titled “Factory Reset”If the device malfunctions, you can restore default settings (User/Pass will revert to admin/admin).
- Method 1 (LCD Screen): Press the physical Menu button > “Settings” > “System” > “Reset”.
- Method 2 (Web Console): Go to “Restore Factory Settings” > “Restore Factory”.
